"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving youself. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror, for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was." James 1:22-24

The Word of God is the reflection of what God has done and spoken to us. Our lives, however, are the reflection of what God has done for us, for others to see. To the believers, the Word of God act as a mirror for us to see our sins and true condition of our hearts. To the non-believer, we Christians act as a reflection of their own sins and disobedience. We are the light to the world and this light cannot be hidden.

Many of us would play the hyprocrisy, going to church, worshipping God in front of ppl and living sinful and wayward lives behind close curtains. Satan is the Father of all lies. He is also known as a deceiver. If we continues to think that we must look holy and good on the outside and not checking on our inside, we are just another Pharisee, whom are jealous when someone is doing better or living a purer life than they are.

'Be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving youself.'

Jesus loves you!
